I Want to Play a Game: Pretty Pretty Princess featuring the Gnoce Jewelry x Saw Collection

About a month ago, Gnoce Jewelry reached out with an offer I could refuse but did not. They recently released a brand new Gnoce Jewelry x Saw collection featuring the cutest depictions of dismembered body parts by way of charm bracelets you will ever see.

Here’s what may or may not be a totally accurate reenactment of the message I got:

“Hello A Huffle of Horror. Weird blog name but okay. You don’t know us, but we know you. We have been watching your blog for a while now. You have spent hours, days, even weeks of your life judging horror films. Using your hands to craft posts that pass judgment over creative livelihoods of others without a second thought. But you’ve never used those hands to model horror-themed jewelry or write about it. Till now.

I received instructions, some tools, and a timeline to decide if I have what it takes to choose valuing my life jewelry over death declining the offer to collaborate. But don’t you worry dear readers…I’m a tireless fighter who will almost never turn down free stuff.

Gnoce Jewelry x Saw Collection

I elected to go with the charms since that is the main type of jewelry Gnoce creates. And when I saw the iconic Billy the Puppet on a tricycle as an option, I slammed that request button faster than Xavier threw Amanda into the needle pit in Saw II.

I actually like a fair amount of the Saw movies, but I’ll never forget how hard I laughed when Billy rolled out from behind a corner and I sincerely thought that was the mastermind. Just check him out in charm form! The attention to detail and paint work on the sterling silver is honestly really cool to look at, especially when you see how small the charms actually are.

I was tempted to just request more Billy, but decided on a more well-rounded approach. So in addition to Billy, I elected for the iconic severed foot and hacksaw for one piece and the circular buzzsaw for the other.

The severed foot (still attached to the chains!) and the bloody hacksaw should not work as a charm for a bracelet but somehow does. I especially love that the buzzsaw piece has the spiral motif on one side and “I want to play a game” written on the other. The red spiral has been a long-standing motif in the series, but it also feels like a nice nod to Spiral in particular that is gets highlighted in this piece.

Now buckle in for the money shot, because I managed to get one somewhat decent picture of the bracelet on my hand which is shockingly hard to do if you never tried. This is perhaps the most vulnerable picture I will ever post here.

But don’t get me wrong if Jigsaw is reading this I greatly VALUE my life and limbs even when I have to foolishly try to get good pictures of them.

As you can see, you can customize the order you put the charms in which is a really nice part of electing to go with one of the charm bracelets. Gnoce also has different styles for their bracelets so you can pick one that fits your vibe.

Even though I stuck to the charms, they also have Saw-inspired earrings, rings, and more.

Beyond the Saw Collection

Now what if you somehow hate Billy the Puppet or for some reason don’t want to rock jewelry with severed, bloody limbs? In that case, Gnoce’s extensive selection of spooky-themed options has you covered. You don’t need to play a game with Jigsaw in order to find something that might be up your alley.

Just look at these options:

I am delighted by this light up Ghost and grumpy Black Cat. The detail is amazing and the ghost comes with batteries and for lack of better words, a magic wand that turns its on and off:

I love that they didn’t need to do that, but added it just for the drama. I also love the Sunshine/Grumpy vibes of the Ghost and Cat next to each other. The light on the Ghost is unbelievably bright all on its own, and you can just keep it off if you don’t want the light up effect.

Pretty, Pretty Princess

The pieces Gnoce sent come with care instructions and they really took care to package it in a fun way. I also like the attention to detail with Saw imagery. It can’t be easy to come up with jewelry when you are given dirty, industrial spaces and dismemberments to work with, yet they somehow came up with jewelry any Saw fan that fancies themselves a pretty, pretty princess from time to time could feel good wearing. And like I said, Gnoce has plenty of more cute and spooky options if the Saw movies aren’t your type of game.

I’d like to thank Gnoce Jewelry for the opportunity to feature some of their jewelry.
